The Nature Of Fairytales

All fairytales are allegories based on an adept’s quest. Each tale serves not only to enchant, entertain and educate its audience, but to imitate (mirror) each individual’s psychic journey. Fairytales are thus, developed versions of myth and folklore which attempt to ‘curve’ or coerce the pyschosphere.

When these myths settle down in the reader’s mind, they etch themselves into their subconscious and culminate into conscious reality as though a ‘spell’. The virtues of the protagonist, for example, might then be adopted and made use of in our daily reality.

On a global scale, this paves the way towards a much more sympathetic world, full of emotionally intelligent individuals and cultures. Such is an example of the psychical influence achieved via initiatory passages.
