Chapter 7

Never was there
As great a misdeed
He contemplated
A way to the fortress
Without the whole town
Calling out his name
Locked within
The confines of his room
He lay in bed
Thinking of the palace
Until he stepped out of his body
And roamed through the gates and gardens
With the same beasts in sight
Who turned to nod
As he ventured further
Towards the light
