Chapter 4

What cunning charm
The snake had possessed
Luring the lady
Lit eyes red as blood
Fangs starving to strike
Venom boiled from his heart
Peering over the meal
Fledging to rip her apart

It lured closer and closer
Sticking out its tongue
The great serpent eaten
Lost child and woman
With its charming ways
It laughed by approach
Wrapping round her right leg
Twisting and turning
Slithering and curling
She gasped as it breached
And slapped the grope’s urging
